Taekwondo schools

From 10th gup to dan, without grading spreadsheets

There are WT schools and ITF schools, belts tipped with the next color, and juniors who get a poom instead of a dan. DojoTally keeps whatever ranking your school uses and counts each student's attendance toward their next gup.

Gups, poom and dan

One ranking ladder, with tips, poom and dan

Each belt is drawn with its main color, a stripe if it has one, and the tip, in your school's order. For each gup you set the minimum classes and months, and for poom or dan, the right age. Before every grading, the list of who's ready builds itself.

  • Maximum ageIf a belt is only up to age 15, like poom, students past that age are pointed to the next belt that fits them
  • Grading noteThe testing fee or anything to know before testing, noted on each belt
  • The member card updates itselfWhen a student moves up a gup, their QR card is redrawn
  • Promotion historyWho tested, when, and which belt they moved up to

Schedule

Poomsae, sparring and the kids class

A taekwondo school runs classes by age and by goal, sometimes at the same time in different rooms. You put them all on the schedule, each with its color and category, and attendance is tracked per class. If two classes overlap in the same room, the system lets you know.

  • Class cap, plus a daily cap for trial classes
  • Classes canceled for holidays or tournaments
  • WhatsApp or email messages to a plan or a discipline

Families

Siblings on one account, waivers signed online

In taekwondo it's common to have two or three siblings training, or a parent with their kids. You put them in a family group with its discount, and the family sees and pays for everything from their phone. When a minor enrolls, the parent signs the waiver online and it's saved as a PDF.

  • Family group discount on the monthly fee
  • Online payment with MercadoPago or Stripe
  • Minor's waiver signed by the parent or guardian

Kids who move to town show up with a belt from another school. The agent answers the question and books the trial class.

The agent replies on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger from your school's real schedule: it knows which class fits each age, only offers the ones that work for a trial, and books everything with a reminder.

Questions from taekwondo schools

Does it work for both WT and ITF schools?

Yes. DojoTally doesn't come with a fixed taekwondo ranking: you load your school's belts, with their colors and in their order, whether they're WT, ITF or your own association's.

Do the colored tips show on each belt?

Yes. Each belt stores three colors: the main one, a stripe along its length if it has one, and the tip. So a 9th gup shows up white with a yellow tip on the student profile and on the member card.

How do I handle juniors who get a poom?

You load the poom as one more belt, with its maximum age. If a student is past that age, the suggestion skips it and moves on to the belt that fits them.

Can siblings pay together?

Yes. You put them in a family group with whatever discount you set, and dues are paid online or recorded by hand.

Every gup, with its attendance counted. Every family, with its account up to date.
