Judo academies and clubs

From 6th kyu to dan, every judoka's history up to date

In judo, kyu colors change from one federation to the next, and many clubs add two-color belts for kids. DojoTally doesn't force a ranking system on you: you load yours, set its requirements and see who's ready to test.

  • Free up to 10 students
  • Two-color belts
  • Minor waivers signed online

Promotions

Your kyu ladder, your requirements, your grading panel

You load the belts with their colors, including the two-color belts many clubs use for kids, and for each one you set what it takes: classes since the last promotion, months at the current belt or a minimum age. DojoTally counts attendance and, before the grading, shows you who already qualifies.

The list is a suggestion for the coach. The judoka doesn't see it.

Schedule by age

Kids in the afternoon, adults at night, all on the same schedule

Each class has its category (Kids, juniors, adults) and its color on the calendar, so the week reads at a glance. Attendance is tracked per class, and absence follow-up knows which classes each judoka is supposed to attend: it won't mark an adult absent from the kids class.

  • Check-in on the tablet with a PIN or the QR on the member card
  • Class cap if the mat has a limit
  • Holiday closures already marked on the schedule

Tournaments

Your club's tournaments, with weight divisions and a medal count

You add each tournament with its date, venue, registration deadline and fee. Each judoka is entered in their division by belt, weight and age, and you see who's interested, who's registered and who's paid. When it's over, you log gold, silver, bronze or competed.

  • The tournament fee goes on the judoka's account
  • Registration list ready before the deadline
  • From their portal, each judoka sees upcoming tournaments, flags the ones they're interested in and sees their medals

Students training on the mat
Mats, gis and attendance by class: exactly what a judo club keeps track of.
In judo, it's almost always the parents who ask. The agent answers with the right class for the kid's age.

The agent knows your schedule and each class's category. If a parent asks about an 8-year-old, it offers the kids time slot, books the trial class and sends the reminder. Enrollment, with the waiver signed by the parent, comes later once they decide to stay.

Questions from judo clubs

Can I use my federation's colors?

Yes. The belts are the ones you load, with their names and colors, in the order your club uses. A belt can be one color or two, like the in-between belts used with kids.

Does it work for a club with lots of kids?

Yes. Classes are split by category, siblings can be in a family group with its discount, and online enrollment asks for the waiver signed by a parent. We cover it in detail in academies with kids.

Can I load my judokas with the belt they already have?

Yes. We help you switch: each one starts with their belt, and if you know when their last promotion was, months are counted from that date.

How do I enter my judokas in a tournament?

You add the tournament and enter each judoka in their division. One list shows who's interested, who's registered and who's paid, and after the tournament you log each one's result.

Let the year-end grading come from attendance, not memory.
